The map below shows the one at Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island.
To avoid the crowd, don’t go during Chinese new year and Civil god’s birthday as it’s the busiest.

How to go to Man Mo Temple @Hollywood Road

  1. Richshaw Sightseeing Bus – route H1
The best way to go to the temple is via the Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus.  It’s like the Hop-on-Hop-off bus in many cities where you can have unlimited rides in one day at a fixed fare. You can start from Star Ferry at Central. Catch the “Heritage Route” called H1 and the 5th stop is Man Mo Temple. The bus starts at Star Ferry. It goes via Exchange Square in Central which is the CBC of Hong Kong.  It passes major skyscrapers in Hong Kong including IFC and Jardine House (the tallest building many years ago). Stop 3 is Western Market which was used to be a major market and one of the oldest market building in town but is now renovated. Not long and it will be the fifth stop for our temple.
  2. Catch the MTR to Central station and take Exit D1 or D2 and head towards no. 100 Queen’s Road Central where you will find Hong Kong’s longest escalator, the Central to Mid-levels Escalator System.  Take the escalator to Hollywood Road.
